Today, I’m here to clear up a topic that can be confusing to many people: closing costs. It’s a very exciting day when you get to close on your new house! Still, there are a few things you need to know.
You’ll need to bring the amount for your down payment that you and your lender agreed upon. In addition, there will be closing costs, including title, escrow, and lender fees. Also, there may or may not be Realtor fees. Therefore, be prepared to bring in about 3% of the purchase price to cover these things.
